Head of Service / Lead Waiter – Luxury Phinisi Charter Yacht

Our client, a luxury Phinisi charter yacht operating throughout East Indonesia, is looking for an experienced Head of Service / Lead Waiter to lead the onboard guest service team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional who is passionate about exceptional service and ready to combine their career with travel through some of Indonesia's most spectacular destinations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the onboard service team

• Coordinate daily food and beverage service for guests

• Ensure exceptional guest experiences throughout each voyage

• Work closely with the Chef, Guest Relations, and Captain to deliver seamless service

• Train, mentor, and support junior service crew

• Maintain the highest standards of presentation, cleanliness, and professionalism

• Assist with beverage service and overall hospitality operations when required

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in hospitality or restaurant service

• Previous experience in a senior waiter, supervisor, or team leader role

• Excellent guest service and communication skills

• Strong leadership and organizational abilities

• Professional with a positive attitude

• Good spoken English

• Willingness to live and work onboard on a rotational schedule (5 months on – 1 month off)

Preferred Experience

• Luxury hotel, fine dining restaurant, boutique resort, cruise ship, or yacht experience

• Experience working with international guests

• Wine, spirits, or cocktail knowledge is an advantage
