Healthcare Customer Care Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate and customer-focused Healthcare Customer Care Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for members, patients, and healthcare providers by assisting with inquiries related to healthcare benefits, eligibility, claims, billing, provider networks, and other account-related concerns. You will deliver exceptional customer service while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to inbound and outbound customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat.
• Assist members with healthcare benefits, eligibility, claims, billing, authorizations, and provider information.
• Resolve customer concerns efficiently while maintaining a high level of professionalism and empathy.
• Accurately document all customer interactions in the system.
• Protect confidential member information and comply with HIPAA and company policies.
• Coordinate with internal departments and healthcare providers to resolve complex issues.
• Meet established quality assurance, productivity, and customer satisfaction goals.
• Stay informed about healthcare policies, procedures, and company updates.

Qualifications

• College graduate of any course with atleast 6 months of bpo experience
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Strong customer service, problem-solving, and active listening skills.
• Basic computer navigation and typing proficiency.
• Willing to work onsite and on a shifting schedule, including weekends and holidays if required.
• Healthcare account experience is an advantage but is not required.
