We are looking for an experienced and highly sales-driven Store Manager to lead our new store at one of Indonesia’s newest luxury retail destinations.

This is a unique opportunity to build a store team, establish a strong sales culture and contribute directly to the development of an international fashion brand in Indonesia.

The Store Manager’s main responsibility is to achieve and exceed the store’s sales targets.

The successful candidate must be an exceptional personal salesperson, a confident communicator and a strong team builder who can recruit, train and motivate employees to sell professionally.

Main Objectives of the Role

• Achieve and exceed monthly store sales targets.

• Personally contribute to sales and demonstrate a high standard of customer engagement.

• Build a professional, motivated and target-driven sales team.

• Develop employees’ product knowledge, selling techniques and customer-service skills.

• Maintain strong conversion rates, average transaction value and overall store productivity.

• Create a store culture focused on sales, accountability, customer relationships and measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the store team to achieve monthly sales targets and agreed KPIs.

• Actively participate in sales and support the team during important customer interactions.

• Approach customers confidently, identify their needs and provide professional styling and product recommendations.

• Build long-term relationships with local and international customers.

• Monitor conversion rate, average transaction value, units per transaction and individual employee performance.

• Recruit, interview, select, train and manage store employees.

• Set clear individual and team sales targets.

• Conduct regular sales coaching, product training and performance reviews.

• Motivate employees and take corrective action when performance standards are not achieved.

• Plan staff schedules according to customer traffic and commercial requirements.

• Maintain product availability, correct pricing and accurate stock records.

• Ensure visual merchandising, store presentation and product displays meet brand standards.

• Maintain a clean, organised and welcoming premium retail environment.

• Ensure correct execution of company policies and standard operating procedures.

• Use sales and customer data to identify priorities and prepare practical action plans.

• Manage payroll information and control store operating expenses.

• Coordinate with shopping-centre management, contractors, suppliers and service providers.

• Provide clear sales and operational reports to company management.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum three years of experience as a Store Manager with an international fashion, footwear, sportswear, accessories or premium lifestyle brand.

• Proven record of achieving and exceeding store sales targets.

• Strong personal sales ability and confidence working directly with customers.

• Exceptional ability to recruit, train, motivate and build a target-driven retail sales team.

• Strong commercial mindset with a clear focus on measurable sales results.

• Excellent communication, negotiation and customer-service skills.

• Fluent spoken and written English is mandatory.

• Fluent Bahasa Indonesia.

• Professional presentation suitable for an international premium fashion brand.

• Strong understanding of retail KPIs, including conversion rate, average transaction value and units per transaction.

• Good understanding of stock control, POS operations, visual merchandising and retail reporting.

• Comfortable working with Excel, Google Sheets and sales-performance reports.

• Able to work according to a shopping-mall roster, including weekends and public holidays.

• Currently based in Bali or prepared to relocate.

• Legally eligible to work in Indonesia.

Applicants without Store Manager experience in an international fashion or premium lifestyle brand will not be shortlisted.

Applicants who are focused mainly on administration and operations, without strong personal sales and team-selling experience, are not suitable for this role.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base salary: Rp11,500,000 gross per month.

• Monthly performance incentive of up to Rp 5,000,000, based primarily on store sales results and achievement of agreed KPIs.
