Mathematics Teacher (IGCSE / Secondary Level)
We are a growing SPK school in Jimbaran, Bali seeking a passionate and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our Secondary School team.
We are looking for an educator who enjoys working with students, has strong subject knowledge, and is committed to helping learners develop confidence in mathematics, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will teach Mathematics within the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum and contribute positively to our school community.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons aligned with the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum.
Create a positive, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress through a variety of assessment methods.
Prepare students for Cambridge IGCSE examinations and support them in achieving their academic goals.
Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of students with varying abilities and learning styles.
Utilize effective teaching strategies and educational technology to enhance learning.
Maintain accurate academic records and communicate student progress professionally.
Collaborate with colleagues in curriculum planning and school improvement initiatives.
Participate in school activities, events, and other responsibilities as required.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field.
Experience teaching Secondary Mathematics.
Experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE Mathematics is preferred.
Strong command of spoken and written English.
Ability to teach in a fully English-speaking classroom environment.
Good classroom management and communication skills.
A positive attitude, flexibility, and willingness to contribute to a growing school environment.
Experience in an SPK, international school, or Cambridge curriculum setting will be an advantage.
