Accounting Finance AP (Account Payable)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Finance AP (Account Payable) professional to join MAISON DEKOR INDO on a full-time basis in West Jakarta. This role is crucial to maintaining the financial integrity and operational efficiency of our accounts payable function. You will be responsible for managing vendor payments, processing invoices, and ensuring accurate financial records that support our business objectives. This position plays a vital part in our financial operations and reporting structure.

What you'll be doing

• Processing and coding vendor invoices in accordance with company policies and accounting standards

• Verifying invoice accuracy, including pricing, quantities, and terms against purchase orders and delivery receipts

• Recording accounts payable transactions in the financial management system with precision and attention to detail

• Managing vendor master data and maintaining up-to-date vendor information and records

• Preparing and processing payment runs, ensuring compliance with payment terms and cash flow requirements

• Reconciling vendor statements and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner

• Liaising with vendors regarding invoices, payment queries, and dispute resolution

• Contributing to month-end and year-end closing processes, including accruals and reconciliations

• Assisting with accounts payable audits and providing supporting documentation as required

• Identifying process improvements and opportunities to enhance efficiency within the accounts payable function

What we're looking for

• Qualified accountant with relevant professional certification or accounting qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounts payable or financial accounting roles

• Understanding Indonesian Taxation System

• Strong proficiency in accounting software systems and Microsoft Excel

• Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards

• Ability to manage multiple invoices and payments simultaneously with high accuracy

• Strong organisational and time management skills with attention to detail

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for vendor and internal stakeholder liaison

• Proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement

• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative finance team

• Experience with month-end and year-end closing procedures is preferred
