Senior Backend & Systems Developer – Enterprise Logistics Platform

Nexvision Innovations Inc. is looking for an experienced Senior Backend & Systems Developer to help build and scale the NexLogistics Enterprise Fleet Transportation Management System.

The successful candidate will design and develop the core backend architecture for vehicle management, dispatch, trip orders, driver management, GPS monitoring, maintenance, fuel, fleet finance, compliance, third-party carrier settlement, alerts, and enterprise integrations.

This role requires strong experience in scalable backend systems, database architecture, API development, security, event-driven processing, and enterprise SaaS applications.

Main Responsibilities

• Design the backend architecture of the enterprise TMS.
• Develop vehicle, driver, route, trip-order, dispatch, maintenance, billing, fuel, and compliance modules.
• Build secure REST APIs, webhooks, and real-time services.
• Design scalable PostgreSQL database schemas.
• Implement role-based access control and regional data isolation.
• Develop audit logs, approval workflows, alerts, and background jobs.
• Build reliable queue processing, retries, ordered replay, and reconciliation.
• Integrate with YTO Portal, OMS, HR, finance, GPS, mapping, and third-party systems.
• Optimize the platform for high-volume GPS and enterprise transactions.
• Write unit, integration, and API tests.
• Review pull requests and enforce coding standards.
• Document architecture, APIs, database structure, and technical decisions.
• Participate in technical workshops, sprint planning, UAT, pilot, and deployment.
• Investigate and resolve production issues.

• Minimum five years of professional backend development experience.
• Proven experience building production-grade systems.
• Strong understanding of system design, security, and scalability.
• Experience working with large databases and high transaction volumes.
• Able to work independently and make senior-level technical decisions.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Able to work during agreed Manila core hours.
• Willing to sign confidentiality, intellectual-property, and data-security agreements.

Preferred Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Equivalent professional experience may be considered.
