About the role
Join PT. CJ Logistics Indonesia as an Assembly Operations/Production Assistant Manager, a crucial role in our thriving warehousing and distribution operations based in Sidoarjo, East Java. As a full-time member of our team, you will play a key part in overseeing our assembly and packaging processes to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of goods to our valued customers.
Role and Responsibilities :
Production Management : oversee the assembly process for electronic products, ensuring timely and efficient production
Monitoring production schedules and ensure targets are met within the specified timelines
Optimize assembly line processes to improve productivity and reduce waste
Ensure proper utilization of resources, including manpower, machinery, and materials
Quality Assurance : Implement and enforce quality control procedures to minimize defects and rework.
Ensure all assembled products meet quality standards and specifications
Collaborate with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to address and resolve quality issues.
Conduct regular inspections and audits of the assembly line
Process Improvement : Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies
Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the assembly process and implement corrective actions
Collaborate with the engineering and R&D teams to improve product design for manufacturability
Providing training and support to the warehouse team to continuously develop their skills
Collaborating with the wider operations team to resolve any issues and implement process improvements
Maintaining detailed records and reporting on the team's performance and productivity
Requirements :
Minimum Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or certification in electronics or a related field may be acceptable, especially if combined with significant experience.
Typically, 4-5 years of experience in electronics manufacturing or assembly, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or team lead role
Experience in the specific type of electronic products being manufactured (e.g., consumer electronics, automotive electronics, home cares)
Proficiency in understanding electronic components and assembly processes.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and tools used in electronic assembly.
Familiarity with quality control standards and testing procedures.
Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of industry regulations and standards.
A relevant degree or certification in assembly electronics.
