About the role
We are seeking an experienced Legal Risk & Compliance Manager to join the team at PT Samsung SDS Global SCL Indonesia. As a fulltime role based in South Jakarta, Jakarta, this position will be responsible for providing strategic legal guidance and ensuring compliance across the organisation.
What you'll be doing
Providing expert legal advice and support on a wide range of commercial, regulatory and compliance matters
Overseeing the development, implementation and monitoring of internal control frameworks and compliance policies
Identifying, assessing and mitigating legal and compliance risks for the business
Managing relationships with external legal counsel and regulatory bodies
Leading training and awareness initiatives to promote a strong culture of compliance
Staying up-to-date with changes in relevant legislation and industry regulations
Supporting the business in achieving its strategic objectives while maintaining the highest standards of governance
What we're looking for
Significant experience (8+ years) in a similar legal risk and compliance role, ideally within the transport or logistics industries
Strong understanding of relevant laws, regulations and industry standards applicable to the business
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and mitigate risks
Outstanding communication and stakeholder management capabilities
Proven track record in developing and implementing effective compliance frameworks
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Relevant tertiary qualifications in law or a related field
