Merchandising Assistant

Sales Consultant (Automotive)- For AITO BRAND & Other brands

Job Description & Qualifications:

• Greet customers and understand their needs (budget, trade-in, driving habits, financing goals).
• Recommend suitable vehicles by explaining features, trims, options, warranties, and incentives.
• Present financing/lease options and work with lenders/finance team to complete applications.
• Coordinate test drives, trade-in evaluations, and vehicle purchase steps.
• Meet and track sales targets (units, gross profit, leads, conversion rates).
• Maintain accurate customer records using a CRM system.
• Follow up on leads (phone/email/text) and handle objections professionally.
• Assist with dealership processes: paperwork, disclosures, and compliance requirements.
• Maintain product knowledge through training on makes/models and promotions.
• Provide excellent customer service through the entire sales cycle (and sometimes post-sale).

Skills

• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Ability to build rapport quickly and handle objections.
• Basic understanding of financing/leases, trade-ins, and pricing.
• Strong time management and follow-up discipline.
• Comfortable working in a KPI-driven environment (leads ? appointments ? sales).
• Professional negotiation and customer-service mindset.

Required/Preferred Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (some employers prefer additional sales/trade training).
• Ability to work evenings/weekends (typical for dealerships).
• Clean background check and ability to pass any required pre-employment screening (varies by employer).
• Valid driver’s license and insurability (commonly required).
• Comfort using CRM/tools and basic computer skills.
• At least with (1) year experience in sales
