About the Role
Zagadea Transport Services Inc. is looking for a hardworking and reliable Assistant Mechanic / Garage Helper to join our growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are eager to learn and build a career in the trucking and logistics industry. Experience is an advantage, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are more important.
Responsibilities
- Assist mechanics with truck and trailer maintenance
- Help remove and install truck tires
- Perform general garage cleaning and housekeeping
- Prepare tools and equipment for repair and maintenance
- Assist in preventive maintenance activities
- Follow safety procedures and company policies
- Perform other garage-related tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Willing to learn and work in a garage environment
- Basic knowledge of removing or replacing tires is an advantage
- Hardworking, dependable, and honest
- Physically fit and willing to perform manual work
- Can work well with a team
- No college degree required
