Position: Senior Legal Counsel
Location: IPIP Industrial Park (On-site / Site-based)
Job Purpose
We are looking for a highly seasoned Senior Legal Counsel to be based full-time at our IPIP Industrial Park. This role demands high independence, strong crisis-handling capabilities, and deep local regulatory expertise to manage site legal issues, government relations, legal disputes, and law enforcement matters.
Key Responsibilities
Legal Management: Act as the lead legal authority on-site, independently resolving complex legal issues arising from daily industrial park operations, labor disputes, land affairs, and subcontractor issues.
Government & Authority Liaison: Build and maintain official dialogue with local and regional government agencies; represent the company at official government hearings, inquiries, and regulatory inspections.
Dispute & Criminal Matter Handling: Direct and coordinate the response to critical legal issues, including police investigations, criminal complaints/cases involving site incidents, labor unrest, or external disputes.
Compliance & External Advocacy: Manage external local advocates, litigation lawyers, and specialized advisors to protect the company’s assets and reputational interests at the local site level.
Risk Prevention & Community Legal Relations: Assess operational legal risks on-site and advise site management on proactive measures to prevent regulatory violations and community-related disputes.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor of Laws (S.H.) and have Advocate License (PERADI).
Experience: 10+ years of legal experience
Key Skills:
Deep expertise in local government procedures, law enforcement protocols (Police/Kejaksaan), labor laws, and land/site affairs.
Proven track record in handling governmental hearings, lawsuits, police procedures, and disputes independently.
High emotional intelligence, composure under pressure, and strong negotiation/crisis resolution skills.
Professional fluency in Bahasa Indonesia. Proficiency in English
