About the Institution
We are establishing a multi-gallery art and cultural center in Ubud as a long-term platform for exhibitions, research, and cultural exchange. The establishment will span approximately 5,000 sqm and include multiple exhibition spaces, public program areas, and supporting facilities. Currently in its pre-opening phase, the institution is building the operational, curatorial, and administrative systems required for a professional and sustainable art center. About the Role
The Café Operations Staff is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the café, ensuring that food and beverage service is delivered efficiently, and that the café environment is clean, organized, and ready to serve visitors. This role focuses on service execution, working closely with the café team to maintain smooth operations during daily service and peak periods. Operating within a shared commercial area alongside the retail shop, this role may support cross-deployment when needed, while ensuring that all café transactions and service procedures are followed correctly.
Key Responsibilities:
Handling customer orders at the counter and coordinating order preparation and pickup in an efficient and organized manner
Operating the café POS system and handling transactions accurately
Coordinating with kitchen or bar staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders
Maintaining cleanliness and readiness of tables, service areas, and café environment
Monitoring basic stock levels for service items and informing supervisors when replenishment is needed
Supporting opening and closing procedures of the café
Assisting in maintaining hygiene and food safety standards in the service area
Handling basic customer inquiries related to menu and service
Minimum Qualifications:
Diploma or vocational training in Hospitality, Food & Beverage, or related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in café, restaurant, or food service operations
Experience handling POS systems and customer transactions
Basic understanding of food and beverage service standards
Ability to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in service areas
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple orders
Attention to detail in service delivery and order accuracy
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Intermediate English proficiency (written and verbal)
