Your Role in this Journey:
1. Facility Inspection & Maintenance
Conduct daily inspections of the entire building, operational areas, and surrounding facilities.
Inspect the condition of flooring, walls, ceilings, doors, windows, lighting, ventilation, cleanliness, and public facilities.
Identify potential safety hazards, facility defects, or maintenance requirements and take appropriate corrective action.
Ensure all operational areas are safe, functional, and ready for daily operations.
Monitor the general condition of the building and recommend necessary repairs or improvements.
2. Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance
Inspect electrical panels, distribution systems, switches, sockets, and related electrical equipment.
Monitor lighting systems and replace faulty lamps or components when required.
Inspect plumbing systems and promptly address water leaks or other plumbing issues.
Maintain water pumps, water tanks, drainage systems, and water heaters.
Monitor utility consumption and identify potential operational inefficiencies.
Ensure backup power systems and related equipment are operational and properly maintained.
Coordinate with qualified external technicians or contractors for technical work beyond the scope of internal maintenance.
3. HVAC & Air Quality Maintenance
Inspect and maintain air conditioning and ventilation systems.
Conduct regular cleaning of AC filters and related components.
Monitor room temperature and air circulation in treatment rooms, fitness areas, café, and studio areas.
Ensure proper ventilation and comfortable air quality throughout operational areas.
Coordinate external servicing and repair of HVAC systems when required.
4. Spa & Wellness Equipment Maintenance
Maintain and regularly inspect spa and wellness equipment, including: Massage beds, Facial machines, Hair treatment machines, Hair steamers, Steamers, Hot towel cabinets, UV sterilizers, Aroma diffusers, Vichy showers, Water heaters.
Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and safely before daily operations.
5. Fitness Equipment Maintenance
Inspect, maintain, and ensure the safe condition of fitness equipment, including: Functional training equipment, Dumbbells, Barbells, Benches, Resistance equipment, Other fitness equipment and accessories.
Perform routine lubrication, adjustment, tightening, minor repairs, and safety checks. Immediately report or remove unsafe equipment from service until properly repaired.
6. Outdoor Climbing Facility Maintenance & Safety
Conduct routine safety inspections of the outdoor climbing facilities and equipment, including: Climbing walls, Anchors, Auto belay systems, Climbing holds, Harnesses, Carabiners, Helmets, Safety ropes, Crash mats.
Immediately identify and remove damaged or unsafe equipment from service and coordinate necessary repair, replacement, or professional inspection.
7. Hair & Nail Treatment Equipment
Inspect and maintain hair and nail treatment equipment, including: Hair dryers, Hair steamers, Shampoo stations, Nail tables, UV nail lamps, Sterilization equipment.
Ensure all equipment is clean, functional, properly maintained, and safe for use.
8. Yoga, Barre & Pilates Studio Maintenance
Inspect and maintain studio facilities and equipment, including: Reformer Pilates equipment, Exercise mats, Resistance bands, Pilates rings, Mirrors, Audio systems, Lighting, Flooring.
Ensure all studio areas and equipment are safe and ready for use before classes and daily operations.
9. Café Equipment Maintenance
Inspect and maintain café equipment and related facilities, including: Coffee machines, Refrigerators, Freezers, Ovens, Blenders, Ice machines, Water dispensers, POS hardware and related equipment.
Conduct basic troubleshooting and coordinate servicing or repairs with external vendors when required.
10. Preventive Maintenance
Prepare and implement weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual preventive maintenance schedules.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize equipment failures and operational disruptions.
Maintain accurate maintenance records for all facilities and equipment.
Monitor maintenance due dates, service intervals, and equipment conditions.
Recommend replacement or upgrading of equipment when necessary.
11. Corrective Maintenance
Respond promptly to equipment failures, facility defects, and operational maintenance requests.
Diagnose technical problems and determine appropriate corrective actions.
Perform minor repairs within the scope of technical competency.
Coordinate external technicians or vendors for major repairs or specialized maintenance.
Minimize operational downtime and ensure affected areas are restored as quickly as possible.
12. Vendor & Contractor Management
Coordinate and communicate with external vendors and contractors, including: Electrical contractors, Plumbing contractors, Air conditioning/HVAC vendors, Climbing equipment suppliers, Fitness equipment suppliers, Fire protection vendors, Internet and telecommunications providers, Building maintenance contractors.
Responsibilities include:
Coordinating maintenance schedules and service visits.
Monitoring the quality and completion of maintenance work.
Following up on outstanding repairs and technical issues.
Monitoring service agreements and maintenance schedules.
Reporting recurring technical issues and recommending appropriate solutions.
13. Safety & Compliance
Conduct routine facility and equipment safety inspections.
Ensure emergency exits and evacuation routes remain accessible and unobstructed.
Inspect fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, and other emergency equipment.
Monitor the functionality of CCTV and related security equipment.
Identify and report workplace safety hazards.
Ensure facilities and equipment are maintained in accordance with applicable workplace health and safety requirements.
Immediately escalate serious safety risks to the relevant management.
14. Asset & Spare Parts Management
Maintain an updated inventory of engineering tools, spare parts, equipment, and facility assets.
Monitor the condition and usability of engineering equipment and spare parts.
Maintain records of repairs, replacements, and maintenance history.
Monitor equipment replacement schedules and expected useful life.
Maintain sufficient critical spare parts to support operational needs.
Recommend capital improvements, equipment replacement, or facility upgrades when required.
15. Emergency Response
Respond promptly to facility and engineering emergencies, including: Electrical failures, Water leaks or flooding, Air conditioning breakdowns, Equipment malfunctions, Plumbing failures, Power interruptions, Safety hazards, Facility damage, Other building-related emergencies.
Take immediate corrective action within the scope of responsibility and coordinate with external vendors or relevant departments when necessary.
Who We’re Excited to Meet:
Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Building Engineering, or related fields.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Engineering, Facility Maintenance, Building Maintenance, Hospitality, Wellness Center, Hotel, Hospital, Commercial Building, or Fitness Center.
Experience in hotels, luxury spas, wellness centers, hospitals, or fitness clubs.
Certification in Electrical Safety, Occupational Health & Safety (K3), HVAC, or Facility Management.
Knowledge of water treatment systems, sauna equipment, and swimming pool systems is an advantage.
Basic knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS).
Valid driver's license (SIM A or SIM C)
