About the role
This IT Staff position supports a manufacturing environment, providing comprehensive IT infrastructure and systems support. The role encompasses hardware and software installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting across the organization, with a focus on ERP system support and network management.
Key responsibilities
Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot IT devices including computers, laptops, printers, scanners, and supporting equipment
Provide IT support to all users and departments for hardware, software, network, and application system issues
Monitor and maintain LAN/WAN networks, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and other network devices
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and company applications
Support and troubleshoot the company ERP system, including user assistance and issue resolution
Coordinate with vendors and providers for ERP, network, device, or IT service issues
Ensure ERP integration and smooth operation across Purchasing, Warehouse, Inventory, Production, Finance/Accounting, HR, and Sales functions
Monitor and verify data and systems to ensure accuracy, security, and smooth ERP input and transaction processes
Perform data backups and maintain IT system and information security
Document IT assets, device configurations, troubleshooting, and maintenance work
Conduct IT asset inventory and monitor device usage
Support IT system implementation, development, and improvements as needed
Maintain system security from unauthorized access and apply company IT security procedures
Provide training and guidance to users on application and IT system usage as required
About you
Minimum D3 or S1 qualification in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
Experience as IT Staff, IT Support, or System Administrator, preferably in manufacturing
Experience with ERP systems is preferred
Understanding of ERP process flows including Purchasing, Inventory/Warehouse, Production, Accounting/Finance, Sales, and HR
Understanding of computer network fundamentals (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, routers, switches)
Proficiency in hardware and software troubleshooting
Ability to install and configure operating systems and computer applications
Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities
Good communication and coordination skills with users and vendors
Honest, disciplined, detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work collaboratively in a team
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Able to work under pressure and resolve issues within target timeframes
Willing to work in a manufacturing company environment
Experience with databases/SQL, servers, backup systems, CCTV, or production systems is a plus
Strong Microsoft Excel skills are a plus
