Key responsibilities:
Supervise and review daily accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes.
Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and reconciliations.
Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial performance.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and internal stakeholders.
Identify process improvements and implement best practices in accounting workflows.
Train, mentor, and evaluate accounting staff.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
Experience in external audit big 4 is an advantage. (PwC, KPMG, EY, Deloitte, Grant Thornton)
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Good leadership and communication skills Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
