About Us

Daewoong Pharmaceutical Indonesia is part of Daewoong Group, supporting healthcare growth in Indonesia through ethical pharmaceutical business development, innovative product launches, medical-society collaboration, evidence generation, and coordinated execution between Indonesia and Korea.

The HQ-approved Ethical Field Force consists of 2 RPMs and 10 RPSs working closely with Marketing PMs, Medical, Market Access, distributors/partners, hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, and KOLs. The team is responsible for deep and consistent execution across a stable universe of priority doctors and hospitals, converting scientific strategy into customer engagement, product availability, prescriptions/users, sales, and reliable field insight.

About the role
The RPS is expected to independently own the assigned territory, target doctors, hospitals, route plan, customer objectives, and business results. The employee must deliver accurate scientific detailing for CREZET, ENVLO, and FEXUCLUE, understand the relevant CV, ENDO/diabetes/cardiometabolic, and GI patient profiles, build professional customer relationships, convert customers from awareness to trial and regular use, document actual commitments rather than unsupported estimates, coordinate access and product availability barriers, and deliver measurable sales and execution targets in full compliance with company and industry standards.

What you'll be doing

  1. Own the assigned territory and stable list of priority doctors, hospitals, clinics, pharmacies/outlets, and relevant stakeholders, with a clear route plan, call cycle, account objective, and follow-up action.

  2. Achieve agreed territory sales, prescription/user, customer-conversion, coverage, call-quality, activity, and account-execution targets.

  3. Conduct high-quality face-to-face and approved remote calls; provide accurate disease and product information; identify customer needs; communicate approved differentiation; and handle objections professionally.

  4. Move customers through the appropriate journey from non-user or awareness to trial, regular use, loyalty, and appropriate advocacy, supported by documented follow-up and measurable results.

  5. Build long-term professional relationships with doctors, pharmacists, hospital stakeholders, KOLs, and relevant customers while maintaining ethical and compliant engagement.

  6. Record actual customer commitments, prescription/user results, barriers, and next actions rather than unsupported estimates; maintain accurate CRM, master-list, call, activity, and account data.

  7. Coordinate with the RPM, Marketing PM, Medical, Market Access, distributors/partners, and other functions on product availability, hospital code-in pathways, KOL follow-up, CSS/RWE support, and account action plans.

  8. Support approved local activities such as RTDs, DtoD, business meals, congress follow-up, product training, and other customer programs; define the customer objective and complete post-activity follow-up.

  9. Monitor competitor activity, customer feedback, local market developments, product availability, and territory risks; provide concise recommendations and field insight to the RPM and PM.

  10. Complete all required product, disease, compliance, SOP, pharmacovigilance, and reporting training and assessments.

  11. Submit timely weekly and monthly reports on calls, activities, commitments, prescriptions/users, sales, barriers, competitor information, and next actions.

  12. Comply with company SOPs, approved materials, IPMG principles, anti-bribery requirements, pharmacovigilance responsibilities, and applicable laws and regulations.

What we're looking for

Required qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Nursing, Public Health, Business, or another relevant major.

  2. Minimum 1 year of ethical pharmaceutical field-sales experience; candidates with 2-3 years of independent territory experience are preferred.

  3. Demonstrated ability to achieve targets, manage a territory, plan a call cycle, prioritize accounts, and build professional relationships with doctors and hospital stakeholders.

  4. Able to understand and communicate clinical/product information accurately, identify customer needs, handle objections, and convert engagement into appropriate prescriptions/users and sales.

  5. Strong discipline in CRM, Excel/Google Sheets, master-list maintenance, customer commitment tracking, weekly reporting, and follow-up.

  6. Good communication and presentation skills in Bahasa Indonesia and workable English.

  7. High ownership, resilience, integrity, teamwork, compliance awareness, and willingness to travel regularly within the assigned territory.

  8. For the Makassar position, the candidate must be based in or willing to relocate to Makassar and travel within the assigned East Indonesia / Sulawesi territory.

Preferred qualifications:

  1. Direct experience promoting cardiovascular, endocrinology/diabetes/cardiometabolic, and/or gastroenterology products.

  2. Existing professional network in priority Jakarta hospitals and doctors, or in Makassar/Sulawesi accounts for the Makassar-based position.

  3. Experience with new-product launches, hospital-focused selling, product availability/code-in follow-up, KOL activities, RTDs/DtoD, congress follow-up, CSS/RWE support, or customer-conversion programs.

  4. Consistent historical sales achievement supported by verifiable territory and account results.

  5. Experience in a multinational or Korean pharmaceutical company.

  6. Familiarity with CRM systems, data analysis, territory dashboards, and disciplined weekly performance review.

  7. Valid driving licence and own vehicle are advantages where required for the territory.
