To identify volatile organic compounds derived from plants in response to the insect pest (leaf eating caterpillars, Oryctes Rhinoceros, etc) and beneficial insect (Elaeidobius kamerunicus, Sycanus dichotomus, etc)

To identify volatile organic compounds derived from plants in response to the insect pest (leaf eating caterpillars, Oryctes Rhinoceros, etc) and beneficial insect (Elaeidobius kamerunicus, Sycanus dichotomus, etc)
To synthesize active compound (VOC) for development of pheromones
To further improved the current integrated pest management system by integrating these information about volatile organic compounds and pheromones interaction with pest
To prepare a scientific report and interpretation from the data obtained
Job Requirement:
Understanding for volatile organic compound
In depth knowledge in entomology
Has excellent knowledge about biochemical minimal 6 years experience
S1/S2/S3 in Entomology or any related field from reputable University
Good understanding about equipment (GC, HPLC, etc)
Good communication in English both written and spoken is a must
Willing to be placed in LIBO Research (Riau)
