System Analyst

About the role

PT. Transnovasi Bangun Persada is seeking an experienced System Analyst to join our Information & Communication Technology team. This is a full-time position based in Jakarta Timur, Jakarta Raya. As a System Analyst, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing and maintaining our organisation's network and systems infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring optimal system performance, security and reliability whilst supporting the technical needs of our business operations. This position is integral to our digital transformation initiatives and contributes directly to the company's operational excellence and technology strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse current network and system architecture to identify performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities and opportunities for improvement

• Design and propose system solutions that align with business requirements and technical standards

• Evaluate and recommend appropriate hardware, software and networking solutions based on organisational needs

• Document system configurations, processes and procedures to ensure clear communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Collaborate with IT teams and business departments to gather requirements and implement system enhancements

• Monitor system performance and conduct regular assessments to ensure optimal functionality and security compliance

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for network and system-related issues

• Develop business cases and cost-benefit analyses for proposed technology investments

• Participate in capacity planning and disaster recovery planning activities

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of system inventory, configurations and changes

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering or a related field

• Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in systems administration, network administration or a similar technical role

• Strong knowledge of operating systems, including Windows Server and Linux environments

• Proficiency in network protocols, TCP/IP architecture and network security principles

• Experience with system monitoring tools and performance management software

• Familiarity with virtualisation technologies and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure or similar platforms)

• Understanding of database systems and their role within enterprise environments

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail

• Strong communication abilities, with capability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified Associate or Cisco CCNA are advantageous

• Experience with IT service management frameworks (ITIL) would be beneficial
