About the role
This role involves overseeing restaurant operations and F&B service during each shift, leading and organizing waiter/waitress and F&B staff, and ensuring guest service is fast, friendly, and compliant with hotel SOP.
Key responsibilities
Oversee restaurant operations and F&B service each shift
Lead and organize waiter/waitress and F&B staff tasks
Conduct briefings before operations and ensure staff understand their duties
Ensure restaurant area, equipment, and supplies are clean and ready for use
Ensure guest service is fast, friendly, and compliant with hotel SOP
Handle guest complaints and resolve issues professionally
Ensure availability of food, beverages, and operational supplies
Monitor material usage to reduce waste and damage
Coordinate with Kitchen, Front Office, Housekeeping, and other departments
Create operational reports and document incidents during shifts
About you
Leadership and team management capability
Good communication and customer service skills
Understanding of basic restaurant/hotel operations
Ability to handle guest complaints
Ability to assign tasks and manage shift scheduling
Understanding of basic inventory and stock control
Ability to use POS/cashier systems
Understanding of hygiene standards and food hygiene
Ability to work in shift systems
Ability to work under pressure
