Mandarin Teacher (Full Time - On-site)

About the role

Xing Guang Mandarin Centre is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Mandarin Teacher to join our team in North Jakarta. In this full-time, on-site role, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective Mandarin language lessons to our primary school students. Your role will be crucial in supporting our student's language development and cultural understanding.

What you'll be doing

• Plan and deliver interactive Mandarin language lessons to primary school students

• Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to foster students' interest and progress in Mandarin

• Create and curate engaging teaching materials, including lesson plans, worksheets, and multimedia resources

• Monitor and assess students' progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their learning goals

• Collaborate with the wider teaching team to contribute to the continuous improvement of our Mandarin curriculum

• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mandarin Language Education / Chinese Literature or related field

• Previous teaching experience (min. 1 year) is an advantage, fresh graduate are welcome to apply

• Excellent Mandarin proficiency, both written and spoken - HSK 4 or equivalent preferred

• Strong knowledge of Mandarin language teaching methodologies and principles

• Ability to create and adapt teaching materials to suit the needs of diverse learners

• Patience, creativity, and a passion for inspiring students to learn
