Open Positions: Occupational Therapist (OT)
Key Responsibilities :
- Assessment: Conducts sensory-processing, fine-motor, and daily-living / self-care assessments, observed by the psychologist where required, then writes up the report for review and sign-off by the psychologist.
- Therapy sessions & progress: Runs the day-to-day 1:1 sessions (about 5–6 clients a day) targeting sensory, fine-motor, and daily-living (self-care) goals: prepares and delivers the IEP, chooses goals with the psychologist, tracks progress, and updates parents (daily, and every 3 months). Presents one case to the team every 3 months.
- Working with the team & family: Communicates daily with parents, teachers, and the Educational Psychologist; routine progress updates go to parents directly (with the educators). Receives guidance on how to support the child’s emotional needs within sessions, and takes part in team case discussions.
- Concerns & escalation: Handles 1st-level concerns directly; consults the Educational Psychologist on 2nd- and 3rd-level concerns. Works under the Educational Psychologist’s supervision.
- Records, confidentiality & resources: Tracks session data and keeps daily records; holds all client information in confidence; requests resources through the Educational Psychologist.
- Safeguarding & safety: Follows the safety policy and reports any concern to the Educational Psychologist immediately.
Requirements:
- Education: Diploma / S1 / S2 degree in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent professional certification/license)
- Experience: Proven clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist, preferably within pediatric care or inclusive educational settings.
- Core Skills: Demonstrated competence in managing 1:1 pediatric interventions, tracking clinical data, and executing developmental, behavioral, or academic plans.
- Language: Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and Professional Proficiency in English.
- Key Attributes: High empathy, emotional maturity, strong teamwork skills, strict discretion regarding client confidentiality, and high adaptability across classroom and home-visit environments.
