Daily Worker Server

About the role

Burgerhead Bali is seeking enthusiastic and professional Server/Waiters and Waitresses to join our team at several locations in Bali. As a Server, you will be the face of our establishment, creating memorable dining experiences for our guests whilst maintaining the highest standards of service and professionalism. This role is essential to our success, as you will be instrumental in ensuring guest satisfaction and driving positive word-of-mouth recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Greeting guests warmly upon arrival and seating them at their tables in a timely and efficient manner

• Presenting menus, explaining special offerings and providing knowledgeable recommendations based on guest preferences and dietary requirements

• Taking accurate food and beverage orders and communicating them clearly to the kitchen and bar staff

• Delivering food and beverages to tables with professionalism, ensuring correct orders are served to the right guests

• Checking in with guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or requests promptly

• Processing payments, handling cash and card transactions, and providing accurate change or processing refunds as needed

• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of dining areas, tables and service stations throughout service

• Clearing tables efficiently and resetting them for incoming guests

• Working collaboratively with kitchen, bar and other front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery

• Handling guest complaints or issues professionally and escalating matters to management when necessary

About you

• Previous experience working as a server, waiter or waitress in a restaurant, café or hospitality establishment (Fresh Grad are welcomed)

• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanour and genuine passion for creating positive guest experiences

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to interact confidently with diverse clientele

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tables and prioritising tasks effectively

• Sound knowledge of food and beverage offerings, menu items and basic cocktail/beverage knowledge is advantageous

• Proficiency in handling payments and point-of-sale systems, with strong numeracy and attention to detail

• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and the ability to carry multiple items safely

• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required by contract

• Commitment to maintaining high standards of personal hygiene and food safety protocols

• Team player mentality with reliability and punctuality
